This is my mixed paint pallet I prepared for "Tree on the Water". I always premix all my paint to see the color relationships on the pallet before starting the painting. It is also how I keep my paints so separate on the canvas and un-blended.

This was a great commission to work on with the Showell family.  The painting was referenced off of an image I took on a drive to Cannon Beach, OR.  I love the layers of land going into the distance.

This is my latest commission painting based on an image that my client took in Reykjanes, Iceland. My client was sitting in hot pots, or hot springs at sunset when he snapped this image. I just love the land pods in the foreground.

This image was referenced from an image I took on the Oregon coast near Newport. I always find the coast line so interesting and am so glad I can get there to visit and photograph easily from Portland.

These paintings are referenced from lighthouses in Michigan. I grew up in Michigan and remember many camping trips that included visits to some of these lighthouse. They remind me of Michigan and of my home. Please note: the images posted here are taken right after I finished painting them so there may be some glare to some of the photos.
